Calvin Hill just released his new project titled, Misguided. The album starts off with powerful vocals by Jason Jet on, “Still”, followed by an epic feature by Young C, on “No Feelins”, just two of many features on the project. On the record “Across the World” Calvin teams up with JayeMillenium to give us a song about God’s never ending love. Hill opens up about the distractions and temptations that distance us from the Lord. However, in the times when we are lost and we search for God, we realize he has been there the whole time.

“Elevators” is one of our favorite songs off the project. Tyshan Knight, Devon Murril and Eli Ahmad lend their voices to help Calvin Hill bring forth this message. Imagine being able to jump onto an elevator whenever we feel like we need some time with the Lord. An Elevator to heaven where we can come visit the Father. However, whenever we feel like we want to be closer to God we can pray and the room becomes that elevator.

Calvin ends the album with Fallin’ Fo You, a worship song about falling deeper in love with Jesus. Jayemillenium and Emaejai singing together on the hook is beautiful. Their voices coming together sounds like love. Calvin Hill ends the song with a prayer while Emaejai harmonizes in the backround, bringing the project to a peaceful end.
