ND18- Truth Is (ft Shema)

Newday have released their promo music video for the event this year and its awesome!

The annual major Christian youth conference, Newday have released their promo music video for the event this year and its awesome! Featuring a group of Christian UK rappers who met at Newday 2017 (Shema), directed and filmed by Joseph Landreth-Smith and produced by J Hevy, the project is a display of vibrant talent. The rhythmic rapping, booming beats and creative visuals will have you milly rocking, dabbing and flossing along with the dancers in the video. The phrase ‘Tell ‘em what the truth is’ repeats throughout and Shema detail in their visionary verses the truth of the Gospel. With powerful lyrics such as ‘No compromise- truth over lies because the truth will set you free’ embedded in the track- the Gospel is unashamedly proclaimed through this art form, giving a taste of what to expect at Newday 2018! Filmed in cities across the UK such as Southampton, London and Brighton, a cool vibe is created and is reminiscent of a fast-paced sportswear ad as everyone in the video is geared up in trendy sports attire.

This year’s Newday event will take place from Monday 30th July- Saturday 4th August. Tickets are available at this link.
